Mia Barnes runs ArtFlo Picture Framers at Seven Dials and understands that how you hold something matters as much as what it holds. A painter and frame-maker, she came to OH OH OH through her friendship with Laura. Her bold, colourful work brings warmth and joy to the space. The frames she contributes are not incidental; they are part of the art.
Mia’s work is influenced by folk art, fairy tales and the edges, both in our material world and beyond. She has an intuitive approach to colour that infuses her work with a warm, bold and distinctive style, exploring cyclical themes of nature and the interconnectedness between all things; of our world and the mystical.
Mia’s day job is framing pictures from her ‘ArtFlo’ workshop in Seven Dials and is a proud sponsor of both the Seven Dials and Fiveways AOH trails.
