Meet Amy
Yoga Teacher
My classes blend gentle yet precise postures, breath awareness, and meditation. I encourage my students to cultivate presence and balance in both the body and mind. Most importantly, I believe yoga is not about flexibility or perfection, but about connection – to yourself, to your breath, and to the present moment. With a focus on accessibility, I design my classes to welcome all students, no matter what their age, experience, or body shape.
After living in Byron Bay, Yoga became an integral part of my self-care for focus, flexibility and connection. I went on to work for twenty years as a Primary School teacher, where I started to see a growing need for children to learn the tools for wellbeing and was keen to develop my knowledge of yoga further. Five years ago, I trained to become a Yoga teacher, and since then I have been passionate about sharing this knowledge with both adults and children.
My greatest joy is witnessing people’s discovery of how yoga can support them in building strength, peace, and resilience – both on and off the mat.
